The structure of organic semiconductor aluminum electrolytic capacitors is similar to that of liquid aluminum electrolytic capacitors, and most of them adopt in-line vertical packaging. Different from the cathode material of solid aluminum polymer electrolytic capacitor, the solid organic semiconductor extract is used to replace the electrolyte, which can improve the electrical performance and effectively solve the problems of electrolyte evaporation, leakage and flammability.
Solid aluminum polymer chip capacitor is a unique structure which combines the characteristics of aluminum electrolytic capacitor and tantalum capacitor. Like liquid aluminum electrolytic capacitors, solid aluminum polymers are mostly in the form of patches. The polymer film with high conductivity is deposited on alumina as cathode and carbon and silver as lead out electrode, which is similar to the structure of solid tantalum electrolytic capacitor.
